This very old version of our smooth and fruity Sherry Cask Malt is in a league of its own. Autumnal but not heavy, it shows its Oloroso sherry influence not with an extreme winey character, but rather with an amplification of its rich notes of sultana raisins, dates, ripe apricots, chestnuts, and candied oranges. Light notes of cinnamon and cloves add a touch of spice to such a fruity, easy and fresh profile. Blended from malts coming from three distilleries, in Speyside and Orkney, it’s a smooth, fragrant, fruity whisky that goes extremely well in a pairing with aged cheese, with a fine cigar or as an after-dinner dram. Luscious, creamy and rich.
