From this often overlooked distillery, sometimes real unexpected gems are born… full of character, unusual aromas and an extremely lively profile. The nose is immediately striking, with its offbeat balance of sour and sweet notes, redolent with fruit juice but balanced by intense notes of polished oak. After this intense initial attack, the explosion on the palate follows suit with a blast of passion fruit, pineapple, mango and bananas. But that’s not all there is, because immediately the fruity sweetness is backed by a pleasant note of herbal infusion and a firm tannic structure from the wood which gets more and more intense towards the finish.
