Never tired or with the excess of tannins too often typical of very old whiskies, it still manages to be vibrant, sweet, youthful and fresh: nose and palate are rich on tropical fruits (banana, mango, passion fruit) and ripe oranges, with a perfect balance between honey sweetness, a firm mineral character and a slightly dry and peppery finish. Propolis, beeswax, aniseed and just a soft touch of oak complete the flavour palette. One of the most refined, luscious, subtle and creamy malts we have ever bottled.
