A special edition at historical high strength to celebrate our long-time special love for this Islay distillery! Clean, breezy, dry and sharp as always, this is a peated malt with all the ethereal aromas of the sea and of coastal Scotland. Salty, with fresh notes of iodine and of a windy seastorm, it is very smoky with that typical dry quality of the distillery: ashy, sooty, tarry… but at the same time with a lean body. We decided to slightly enhance it, without altering its very traditional style, with a finish of 10 months in third fill Oloroso sherry casks: just a very slight hint of fruitiness, an extra layer of juicy flavour, but retaining all of its clean and dry profile.
